Kur'an'ın Allah tarafından buyrulan, kanıtlayıcı, yol gösterici, aydınlatıcı bilgi olmasını ve belirlenmiş ilkelerin ve kuralları ifade etmektedir. Hikmet, Kur'an'ın niteliklerinden/isimlerindendir. Tıpkı Kur'an ve Zikir, Kur'an ve Furkan gibi (Bkz. 62:2). Hikmet, "engel olmak" demektir: Kur'an'ın toplumu güçlendirmek, sağlamlaştırmak, baskı, zulüm ve fesadı engellemek için konulan yasa, kural ve ilkelerini ifade etmektedir. Hikmetin anlamlarından birisi de sağlıklı düşünmek, gerçeği kavramak, doğru yargıda bulunmak yetisidir. Hikmet kavramının ayrıca yargılama, karar, güçlendirmek, sağlamlaştırmak, bilmek, bilge olmak, hakem, hakim, hüküm, hükümdar, hükümet, mahkeme, mahkum, tahakküm, istihkam, gibi anlamları bulunmaktadır. Hikmet kelimesine sünnet anlamı verilmesi doğru değildir. ### Süleymaniye Vakfı — Süleymaniye Vakfı Meali Allah, nebilerden kesin söz aldığında şöyle dedi: "Size kitap ve hikmet veririm de daha sonra yanınızda olanı tasdik eden bir resul /bir kitap[1] gelirse kesinlikle ona inanacaksınız ve yardımcı olacaksınız. Bunu kabul ettiniz mi? Bu ısrı /ağır yükü[2] yüklendiniz mi?"[3] Onlar: "Kabul ettik!" dediler. Allah: "Siz şahit olun, sizinle beraber ben de şahidim." dedi. _Dipnotlar_ - [1] Allah'ın nebilerden söz alması, onlara verdiği kitaplar vasıtası ile ümmetlerinden de söz almasıdır. Bu söz, yanlarında olanı tasdik eden bir resulün gelmesi halinde ona inanma sözüdür. Ayette, "yanlarında olanı tasdik eden bir nebi" değil de "bir resul" ifadesinin kullanılması çok önemlidir. Arap dilinde resul (رسول), "birine gönderilen söz" anlamına geldiği gibi o sözü iletmek için gönderilen elçi anlamına da gelir (Müfredat). Allah'ın elçilerinin görevi, onun sözlerini insanlara ulaştırmak olduğundan Kur'an'da geçen Allah'ın resulü sözleri ile kastedilen öncelikle kitaptır ([Bakara 2/101](https://acikkuran.com/2/101)). Son nebi olan Muhammed aleyhisselam gelmiş, görevini yapmış ve vefat etmiştir ([Al-i İmran 3/144,](https://acikkuran.com/3/144) [Ahzab 33/40](https://acikkuran.com/33/40)) ama tebliğ ettiği Kur'an, kıyamete kadar kalacaktır. Dolayısıyla bugün, Yahudi, Hristiyan, Mecusi, Sabii vs. ümmetlere tebliğ edilecek olan resul, Kur'andır. Ama size bunları söylediğim için yüreğiniz kederle doldu. Size gerçeği söylüyorum, benim gidişim sizin yararınızadır. Gitmezsem, Gerçeğin Ruhu (Paraklit) size gelmez. O gelince dünyanın günah, doğruluk ve gelecek yargı konusundaki suçluluğunu dünyaya gösterecektir. Günah konusunda - çünkü bana iman etmezler; doğruluk konusunda - çünkü Baba'ya gidiyorum, artık beni görmeyeceksiniz; yargı konusunda - çünkü bu dünyanın egemeni yargılanmış bulunuyor. Size daha çok söyleyeceklerim var ama şimdi bunlara dayanamazsınız. Ne var ki O yani Gerçeğin Ruhu (Paraklit) gelince, sizi her gerçeğe yöneltecek. O kendiliğinden konuşmayacak, yalnız işittiklerini söyleyecek ve gelecekte olacakları size bildirecek. O beni yüceltecek." (İncil Yuhanna 16/5-14). ### Ali Rıza Safa — Kur'an-ı Kerim Gerçek Allah, peygamberlerden kesin söz aldığında, şöyle dedi: "Size kitap ve bilgelik verdikten sonra, yanınızda olanı doğrulayan bir elçi geldiğinde, kesinlikle Ona inanacak ve kesinlikle Ona yardım edeceksiniz. Bunu kabul ettiniz mi? Ve bu ağır yükümü üstlendiniz mi?" "Kabul ettik!" dediler. Allah, şöyle dedi: "Öyleyse tanık olun. Peygamberlerin birbirlerine yardım sözü vermeleri, İncil, Elçilerin İşleri 3:22,23 ayetlerinde, şöyle yazılıdır: "Musa, şöyle demişti: ‘Tanrınız Rab, size, kendi kardeşlerinizin arasından, benim gibi bir peygamber çıkaracak. O'nun size söyleyeceği her sözü dinleyin. O peygamberi dinlemeyenlerin tümü, Tanrı'nın halkından koparılıp yok edilecektir.'" ### Mustafa İslamoğlu — Hayat Kitabı Kur’an Allah peygamber (aracılığıyla kitap ehlin)den; "Eğer vahiyden ve hikmetten size bir pay verdikten sonra size hakikatten yanınızda kalanı tasdik eden bir elçi gelirse, kesinlikle ona inanmalı ve yardım etmelisiniz" taahhüdünü aldığı zaman sordu: "İşte bu şarta dayalı ahdimi alıp kabul ettiniz mi?" "Kabul ve tasdik ettik!" diye cevap verdiler. Allah buyurdu: "O halde şahid olun! Ben de sizinle birlikte şahitler arasında olacağım!" ### Yaşar Nuri Öztürk — Kur'an-ı Kerim Meali Ve unutma ki Allah, peygamberlerden misaklarını almış, şöyle demişti: "Size Kitap'tan ve hikmetten nasip verdim. Sonra size elinizdekini doğrulayıcı bir resul geldiğinde, ona mutlaka inanacak ve ona muhakkak yardım edeceksiniz. Kabul ettiniz ve ağır yükümü üzerinize aldınız mı?". "Kabul ettik." dediler. Demişti ki: "Bunu ikrar ettiniz ve bu ağır yükümü aldınız mı?" Allah da: "Öyle ise, şahit olun, ben de sizinle birlikte şahitlik edenlerdenim!" buyurdu. ### Muhammed Esed — Kur'an Mesajı Allah, (geçmiş vahiylerin izleyicilerinden) peygamberler vasıtasıyla şu taahhüdü talep etti: "Eğer, vahyi ve hikmeti size bahşettikten sonra, halen sahip olduğunuz hakikati tasdik eden bir elçi size gelirse o'na inanmalı ve yardım etmelisiniz. Bu şarta dayalı ahdimi kabul ve tasdik eder misiniz?" Onlar: "Kabul ederiz!" dediler. Ikrar verdik dediler, öyle ise, buyurdu: Şahid olun ben de sizinle beraber şahidlerdenim. ### Süleyman Ateş — Kur'an-ı Kerim ve Yüce Meali Allah, peygamberlerden şöyle söz almıştı: "Bakın, size Kitap ve hikmet verdim; imdi yanınızda bulunan(Kitap)ı doğrulayıcı bir peygamber geldiğinde, ona mutlaka inanacak ve ona mutlaka yardım edeceksiniz! Sonra da size nezdinizdeki (o Kitab ve hikmeti) tasdik eden bir peygamber gelmişdir (gelecekdir). Yanınızda olanı doğrulayıcı bir peygamber geldiğinde mutlaka o'na inanacak ve yardım edeceksiniz. İkrar edip de ahdi kabul ettiniz mi? demişti. Onlar da: İkrar ettik, demişlerdi. Allâh said: "Do you agree (to it) and will you take up My Covenant (which I conclude with you)?" They said: "We agree." He said, “Do you affirm and accept my covenant in this respect?” They said, “We affirm.” He said, “Then, bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.” ### Abdul Haleem God took a pledge from the prophets, saying, ‘If, after I have bestowed Scripture and wisdom upon you, a messenger comes confirming what you have been given, you must believe in him and support him. Do you affirm this and accept My pledge as binding on you?’ They said, ‘We do.’ He said, ‘Then bear witness and I too will bear witness.’ ### Marmaduke Pickthall When Allah made (His) covenant with the prophets, (He said): Behold that which I have given you of the Scripture and knowledge. " He (i.e., Allah) said, "Do you ratify (that)? And do you take My obligation on those (conditions)?" They said, "We have ratified (that)." Said He: "Then bear witness [thereto], and I shall be your witness. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab Allah entered into a covenant with the Prophets, expressing the obligation to which they are bound. "I have given you the Book," He said, "and acquainted your hearts with wisdom. So when there comes a Messenger with a Book that corroborates and authoritatively validates the Authentic Books you hold in possession, you shall faithfully recognize him, uphold him and help him accomplish his mission. Now do you all subscribe to this allegiance and shall you pledge yourselves before Me to keep the vow!" They said: "We pray the prayer and vow the vow." "Then," Allah said, "you bear witness to this obligation which you shall relate to your people, and here do I subscribe to be also a witness to this course of action" ### Shabbir Ahmed Allah made a Covenant with all the Prophets, and through them with their respective nations, that they would welcome each of the next Messengers in the process of Divine Revelations and support him. Allah said to the Prophets, "I give you the Scripture and Wisdom. Afterward there would come a Messenger who would confirm the Truth in your Scripture. You shall believe in him and help him." He said, "Do you agree and take this Covenant as binding on you?" They said, "We agree." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." (This was the Covenant with their nations. The personal covenant made with each Messenger is mentioned in (33:7)) ### Sahih International — (Umm Muhammad, Mary Kennedy, Amatullah Bantley) And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him. " [ Allah ] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." ### Syed Vickar Ahamed And (remember), Allah took the (holy) promise from the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; Then comes to you a Prophet (Muhammad), confirming what is with you; Do you believe in him and render him help. " Allah said: "Do you agree, and take this My Promise as binding on you?" They said: "We agree."
