Bilindiği gibi Firavun kendisini ilâh diye tanıtmakta, İsrailoğulları'nın kendisinden başka ilahının bulunmadığını onlara dikte etmekteydi. İşte böyle korkunç bir kibrin sahibi olan Firavun'a ve yöneticilerine Yüce Allah'tan başka ilah olmadığını, üstelik Yüce Allah'ın onların da Rabbi olduğunu kendilerine bildirmiştir.
