Can any of those whom you associate with Allah in His Divinity! do any such thing?[3] Glory be to Him and exalted be He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. _Dipnotlar_ - [1] From here again the discourse turns to the theme of Tauhid and the Hereafter for the admonition of the disbelievers and the mushriks. - [2] That is, "He provided all the various means in the earth for your sustenance and made such arrangements that everyone should receive something from the circulation of the provision." - [3] That is, "If those whom you have set up as deities can neither create, nor provide sustenance, nor have power over life and death, nor can raise you back to life after death, then what for have you set them up as your deities?" ### Abdullah Yusuf Ali It is Allah Who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) "Partners" who can do any single one of these things? Glory to Him! and high is He above the partners they attribute (to him)! ### Al-Hilali & Khan Allâh is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allâh) that do anything of that? Glory be to Him! And Exalted be He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him). ### Abdul Haleem It is God who created you and provided for you, who will cause you to die and then give you life again. Which of your ‘partners’ can do any one of these things? Glory be to God, and exalted be He above the partners they attribute to Him. ### Marmaduke Pickthall Allah is He Who created you and then sustained you, then causeth you to die, then giveth life to you again. Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allah) that doeth aught of that? Praised and Exalted be He above what they associate (with Him)! ### Taqi Usmani Allah is the One who created you, then gave sustenance to you, then He will make you dead, then He will make you alive. Is there any one from your (so-called) ‘partners of God’ who can do anything of that (kind)? Pure is He, and far higher than what they associate (with Him). ### Mustafa Khattab — The Clear Quran It is Allah Who created you, then gives you provisions, then will cause you to die, and then will bring you back to life. Can any of your associate-gods do any of this? Glorified and Exalted is He above what they associate with Him ˹in worship˺! ### George Sale It is God who hath created you, and hath provided food for you: Hereafter will He cause you to die; and after that will He raise you again to life. Is there any of your false gods, who is able to do the least of these things? He then deprives you of animate existence and at a predetermined point of time He shall resurrect you. Is there any among your predominant partners who is able to do that! Glory be to Him and extolled are His glorious attributes, He is infinitely beyond those you incorporate with Him. ### Shabbir Ahmed Allah is He Who has created you and then has provided you with sustenance, and then will cause you to die, and then will bring you to life again. Are there any of your 'partners' who can do any single one of these things?
