Allah ise, ne yapacaklarını biliyordu. ### Muhammed Esed — Kur'an Mesajı Ve bir kervan çıkageldi; (kervancılar) sucularını (su kuyusuna) gönderdiler; onlardan biri kovasını kuyuya salıyordu ki (orada Yusuf'u gördü) ve: "Ne kısmet!" diye bağırdı, "Bir oğlan çocuğu bu!" Ve böylece kervancılar o'nu, satmak niyetiyle yanlarına aldılar.
